Modern Slavery Statement

  

Introduction 

This statement covers the activities of Benn Consulting Limited, and complies with both the letter and spirit of the law, in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.  It outlines the steps that Benn Consulting Limited has taken to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within this organisation or our supply chains. 

Modern slavery and human trafficking continues to be a hidden blight on our global society.  We all have a responsibility to be alert to the risks, however small, in our business and the wider supply chain.  Benn Consulting Limited is committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all our business dealings and to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate and operational activities. 

Our Structure  

Benn Consulting Limited is a single person consultancy company providing advice and training in the areas of mobile phone technology and technical standards. 

Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking: 

Benn Consulting Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.  We expect all those in our supply chain to comply with our values.  We have the following principles to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner:  

  • Supply      Chain – Benn Consulting Limited is wholly committed to ethical      trading principles and to acquiring goods and services without harm to      others.  We maintain an awareness of the requirements within this      statement and use all reasonable endeavours to ensure there is no evidence      of slavery or human trafficking. Benn Consulting Limited will not support      or deal with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking. 

Whistleblowing Policy 

Benn Consulting Limited advise any external partner or supplier to report any modern slavery issues externally to the Modern Slavery Helpline: https://www.modernslavery.gov.uk/start Tel: 0800 0121 700 

This statement will be regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
